Welcome to the inaugural post of Fables and Legends of the Märchenweltgrenze. In this series, I create one-shot adventures that either use the original (IE darker) version of classic fairytales as a starting point and make the story a little bit more twisted or I create a completely original adventure that rifts on the the style of the Brothers Grimm. I have a back catalog of these I want to share including everything from a version of The Little Mermaid where the sea witch is a sadist who wrecks lives for kicks to a pair of towns that are nearly at blows with each other because some inconsiderate fey creatures are stealing the towns memory. Be prepared for the things to get dark and strange.

The adventures in this series are designed for levels 5-9 and flexibility. The greater story of the Märchenweltgrenze chronicles takes place in the second arch. Fredrick has ascended to being a fey sovereign with Bergherz his domain. These adventures are intended to be short sidetracks on long journeys or adventures meant to recruit a town into the Bergherz fold.
