The results of the poll are in, Drum roll please

Drum roll, get it. I could not help myself

From this point out Aoibheann will use

an updated version of her original design. Honestly, I was surprised by how few votes the new design got in the poll. Well, I did promise to abide by my reader’s decision come woe or weal, and I intend to keep my promise. The process gave me an excuse to update the character designs using Whisk.

Aoibheann’s new character sheet

Honestly, I think this Princess Peach-esque fairytale princess design suits Aoibheann well. With almost every other lady of noble birth in the Feengrenze being a manipulative bitch who revels in the suffering of others and the humiliation of their enemies, there has to be at least one example of the classic Fairytale Princess around to ensure we do not slip into something akin to grimdark.

I also updated Fredrick’s design in a few subtle ways. I always intended for Fredrick to be proportioned like Beast from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, around seven feet tall with a broad, muscular body that makes him look like he could slay a dragon single handily (a feat he has pulled off on several occasions). From the beginning, he was also supposed to have a full head of flowing raven-colored hair. Usually, when an Image generator generates an image, they would never get these details correct, but with whisk, it is relatively easy to get the art right.

Anyway, that’s enough for today. I need to create some more images for the gallery section of Monday’s post; see around Wayfairers.
